coming to uni i haven’t really done any work i’m proud of, after the intensity of foundation and then the long, long summer i’m still trying to find my feet trying to get back into working everyday and doing all the research and sketchbook work. all i want to do is draw slugs all day :(.

nevertheless here is an animation i did for my animation module, one of the first ones i’ve ever done! 

it was for the “see sound” project, where we were given a choice of 4 sounds and had to make a 20 sec animation to fit them, since the sound is called “rookery” i thought about how rooks are essentially scavangers, in the 20 second narrative it’s the dawn chorus and the voices of the rooks are overriding the little birds, they want to eat all the little ones and their aggression only gets worse as the sound goes on… (there’s two different videos, I was playing with the editing quite a bit)

i hope this is the start of a new worth ethic…

nah its blatantly not, i will continue to just draw slugs.
